This is a common frequently asked question FAQs of GVision’s LCD touchscreen monitors. To better assist you regarding the problem with your monitor, please contact our technician here.

Any standard glass cleaner can be used to clean the display and touchscreen. It is important to always spray the glass cleaner on a cloth or towel before cleaning the touchscreen surface. Glass cleaner sprayed directly on the monitor could possibly leak inside a non-sealed unit and cause damage.

After the driver is loaded, you will see a little icon on your task bar. Please click on the icon and this will bring up the settings menu for the touchscreen calibration.

We usually suggest that customers run Auto-Tune from the OSD menu on the front panel of the LCD monitor. If problem persists, your resolution may be too low.

Note: For the best results, please set 60, 70, or 72 Hz refresh rate at 1024×768 pixels and set 60 Hz refresh rate at 1280×1024 pixels.

Run the Recall or Reset under the OSD menu depending on the LCD model, followed by the AutoTune.

The error message means that either the resolution or the refresh rate does not fit into the specification of your monitor. The setting on the computer needs to be adjusted. In order to do this, it is better to connect a secondary monitor to your computer so that you can change the appropriate settings easily.

Note: For the best results, please set 60, 70, or 72 Hz refresh rate at 1024×768 pixels and set a 60 Hz refresh rate at 1280×1024 pixels.

First turn off the monitor, then hold the (+) button and (-) negative button at the same time. Second, the monitor will turn off while still holding both buttons. Third turn the monitor back on and wait till the factory mode window come up, after that look for recall all option and hit the (+) button. Once the recall all function is finished scroll down to exit option and hit the (+) button to exit factory mode.

The easiest way to do this is holding the + and – buttons down on the front panel of the monitor and then turn off the monitor for 3 or 4 seconds. Then turn the monitor on and release the buttons.

Note: Hold the + and – buttons down the entire time until you turn the monitor back on.

Your keys might be in “lock” mode. In order to unlock them, we suggest you press the down arrow button on the front panel of the LCD and then unplug the power cord for 3 or 4 seconds. While pressing it down, you can plug the power cord back in and release the button afterwards.

Note: Hold the arrow button down at all times until you plug the power cord back in and the power indicator LED is green.

The settings of the video graphic card are probably not correct. We usually suggest that customers run Auto-Tune from the OSD menu on the front panel of the LCD monitor. If problem persists and your OS is Microsoft Windows, we suggest you follow the next steps after connecting a secondary display to your computer:

  • At your desktop, please right-click your mouse button, while the cursor is on the desktop background
  • Select Properties.
  • Select the [Settings] tab and adjust the [Screen Resolution] setting by moving the indicator bar to the right or left based on your monitor type. If you have:
    • 12.1″ LCD, we recommend setting it at 800×600.
    • 14.1″ or 15″ LCD, we recommend setting it at 1024×768.
    • 17″ or 19″ LCD, we recommend setting it at 1280×1024.
  • Then, select the [Advanced] button located in the lower right corner.
  • Click on [Monitor] tab.
  • Look for the Refresh Rate drop-down list and select a Refresh Rate of 72 Hz (or below).
  • Select [Apply] and then click [OK] to save the configuration.
  • Shut down the computer.
  • Connect your GVision LCD monitor to the computer while it is turned completely off.
  • Turn on the computer and LCD monitor at the same time.
